Or are you just looking for a little bit of extra income to supplement the less-than-stellar pay your corporate RD job pays? If you answered yes to any of these questions - this job may be the perfect match for you!
What we are looking for :
An RD who is seeking flexible hours (but must be able to work one evening and Saturdays, in person) in a fun, fast-paced, upbeat nutrition private practice.
We are looking for 15 hours per week to start and can lead to full time position.
Experience with outpatient counseling is a must!
Interest in integrative and functional nutrition a must!
My practice sees/services patients with gastrointestinal disorders, cardiometabolic conditions, weight management, eating disorders and general pediatrics.
Education/Experience :
Certified as a dietitian or nutritional professional in the state of NY.
Must have at least 1 year of experience working in nutrition counseling setting.
Responsibilities and Duties :
Conduct nutrition assessment and obtain nutrition history from a variety of patients.
Counsel patients in both one-on-one settings as well as in groups.
Formulate meal plans for therapeutic diets based on the medical and physical condition of patients.
Schedule follow-up for patients visits using the company's HIPAA compliant cloud-based scheduling system.
Effectively document patient visits.
Qualifications and Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
RD will serve as an independent contractor (IC). RD must purchase liability insurance through the Academy prior to seeing first patient.
Wage will commensurate with experience.'
